Decent hotel with reasonable rates. Housekeeping staff is good. Breakfast is good. Rooms close to the Highway have some noise but not much of an issue.

The stay at Ginger was great. The staff was very helpful and courteous. Special thank you Mr Sushant for accommodating our early check-in. Only issue was with the access card to the rooms, kept getting deactivated .

We enjoyed staying at Ginger hotel and the services offered were very nice. They offered a very good buffet breakfast.

When you interact with them, they genuinely try to be supportive. ### Housekeeping, Room Amenities, and the "Filthy Mattress" Despite the staff's good intentions, the actual maintenance and housekeeping protocols are highly inconsistent and frequently **pathetic**: * **Cleanliness Deficits:** The **ok-sized rooms** are frequently **not clean**. Dust and poor maintenance are evident. * **The Filthy Mattress Incident:** The absolute lowest point of the stay was the **extra mattress provided, which was super dirty and filthy**. It is shocking how a brand under the Taj umbrella can hand out such unhygienic bedding to paying guests. * **Poor Room Design & Missing Essentials:** The room layout lacks basic functionality—some rooms feature **no options to hang clothes in the bathroom** or keep your personal items organized. In the shower area, there is **no shower curtain**, meaning water freely flows out and floods the rest of the bathroom floor during every use. * **Dining Hall Neglect:** Even though the breakfast taste is great, the restaurant team **does not clean the dining tables at all unless you explicitly ask them** to wipe them down, leading to an uninviting dining environment. ### Front Desk Latency and Missing Amenities Logistics and basic hospitality fulfillment feel heavily uncoordinated: * Basic bathroom setup refills are rarely completed properly. * Essential items like **towels or complimentary water are almost always missed** during room prep. * Getting these missing items resolved is an exercise in patience. **Requests to the reception desk take forever** to process, forcing you to repeatedly call and remind the front desk team just to get basic service fulfilled. ### Pathetic Internet Connectivity For business travelers or remote professionals looking to complete tasks, the digital infrastructure is a massive roadblock. **The internet is completely pathetic**. The speeds are so slow that you can **hardly browse basic websites**, making it entirely impossible to securely connect to a corporate VPN or perform steady remote work. ### Final Verdict Given its prestigious corporate lineage, this hotel should be performing at a much higher standard. Instead, it feels like a **just okay property** that cuts too many corners on core hygiene, digital amenities, and basic service speed. Stayed with family for a night. Perfectly located as it right on the highway and you need not take a detour into the city. Its a budget hotel - so the rooms are a bit tiny. The breakfast options are good and the staff is helpful. The check-out experience could be improved. Had to wait nearly 30 mins before I got to the reception, probably due to peak hours. Perfect for business / solo travellers and not necessarily for families.
