The Shire of Sagada

Shire lodging so cute w its circular doors and wooden stone decor. We r fans of Lord of the Rings so can relate to the peaceful ambiance of the Shire. Some suggestions: 1) since rooms are cold due to tile flooring. Provide water kettle to allow us to heat drink warm water at night would be big help. Put watee dispenser also at 2nd floor if not per room 2) provide hangers for coats 3). Put a chair beside the shoes area so one can sit and remove or put on shoe easier w ease. 3) display the toursnand rates from Tourism office for easy reference. 4) our beef linaga food order was very tough so hard to chew... Soften the meat longer cooking time Liked the coffeee and tea options that went w the breakfast.

There is no parking area adjacent the hotel ,you have to walk about 150 meters ,so pack a small bag and only carry what you require . Very quiet without a lot of roasters and dogs barking. Very unique design worth while seeing .

Been in sagada for three times already and i must say in terms of Architectural design and hotel view, This is by far the best accommodation i’ve stayed in sagada.

Check-in was a breeze, and any questions or requests I had were promptly addressed. The level of customer service truly sets it apart. The room itself was comfortable and clean, with modern amenities and a beautiful view. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had some of the best nights' sleep during my stay. The attention to detail in room cleanliness and maintenance was evident. Location-wise, the hotel was a bit far from the town but of course, the view was exceptional. Perfect way to end our Sagada trip.

The shire was a nice hotel but we are not coming back. It was clean, the rooms were also clean. Wifi was unstable due to usage of starlink but that’s fine as they disclosed this. The walk from the parking to the hotel is not far but it’s a little bit hassle due to small paths, smelly surroundings along the way. It’s hard especially if you have luggages with you. Food was great though. I think they lack staff because they could not entertain us right away especially if there are a lot of people in the restaurant.
