Hotel ML

Spacious room with table where one can enjoy food, coffee, drinks. Front desk staff was kind. Hotel in a prime location, close to everything and train station.

Stayed in Haarlem and liked the town, easy in and out from A'dam to Rotterdam and ferry to Harwich. Got a super deal on Agoda- ML is a fancy place by my standards and centrally located. Arguably, the train station is a ways away and walking might not be the preferred option which I guess takes Haarlem out of many people's equations on where in Netherlands to stay. I had no reason to be in Haarlem except for travel from Berlin to Rotterdam, wanted to see the Hague next day, like staying outside of A'dam as I did that as a youth. Overall glad to be directly across from stunning cathedral and many good restaurants that were rather pricey but their side dishes were large enough to splurge. It's just that on a budget: splurgeable if a good price found online for the ML and travelers with shallow pockets.
