For an all-inclusive, there really isn't much food to include. There are "food desert" hours - meaning there is little to no food available between 11am-12:40 pm and 3-6pm. The small grills (most open only 12:30-5pm) run out of food well before then. Room service takes over an hour, is usually incorrect, and can only go to your room, not the beach or pool. So you find yourself rather hungry throughout much of the day. The restaurants that are available (when they are open) have very limited and stagnant menus. By Day 3, you're sick of the options. The buffet restaurant is the smallest spread I have seen yet at an all-inclusive. The beaches and pools are incredible, however. One small note - we arrived at 3 pm on our first day (and splurged for the tiny plane to take us from Montego Bay to Negril.) We had to wait over 90 minutes in an un-airconditioned, empty restaurant for them to complete check in. No one offered us food or drinks. It was a terrible start to the trip, especially when they told us the room we had specifically booked (2 beds - since we were traveling with a 6 year old) wouldn't be available until the next day. We had to use the pull-out couch for him, instead. There are better all-inclusives out there at this price point. It's a shame, because the facilities are pretty wonderful. They just need to keep food in stock and more readily available.

The best thing about this resort is the staff, who were consistently pleasant and eager to please and be of assistance. Otherwise the resort is fine but starting to show its age with lots of little things now working (including the lock on the women's public bathroom) or somewhat damaged. Karisma's idea of having lots a small pools with swimup bars that very few people seem to use is also odd. The fun of a swimup bar is interacting with others and this defeats that purpose - which may be why we saw very few people at them. The location right on the ocean and in a bay is wonderful and we really enjoyed the beach and activities.

Location is far from Kingston if you're coming from that side. Nice beach and pools. Staff is great.
