호텔 파크 베르겐

This is a very nice hotel that's located a short distance (just two tram stops away from the Sentrum) from the tourist hotspot, the perfect refuge from the summer crush. While my room was lovely (quiet, clean, love the en suite bathroom), I had a "queen" bed that was really two single beds pushed together, and my room was located in the annex of, though across the street from, the hotel. This meant that in the morning when you're getting down to breakfast, you'll need to put on decent clothes and cross the street over to the breakfast room. Okay in the summer, but maybe less so if the weather is colder. Breakfast was quite basic (cold cuts, slices of famous Norwegian brown cheese, and dry scrambled eggs). There is a very impressive restaurant just three minutes away on foot called Marg & Bein that serves locally sourced ingredients that I personally recommend.
