Hotel de la Bourse

Stayed here for 4 nights. Overall, it's not bad imo. Location-wise: Perfect! Located in the center of the city. I was able to roam around freely and enjoy the Architecture of Maastricht, all within walking distance. Even though there's a cafe on the first floor, it's not really noisy, and I had quite ok sleep Unfortunately, I visited when there's a heatwave for the entire week. It was 38 degrees and... No aircon. They only provided a small fan, which was not enough imo. (I got chocolate at night and all melted in the morning) It quite hot in the afternoon, but quite windy after the sun sets (which is around 11pm) Overall its an alright experience.

Cant say i didn't like the place but sadly it was peak of summer when we visit Maastricht and this hotel doesn't have an aircon in their rooms. Sorry but I can't recommend this place during summer time. Although there is a electric fan offered to each room, the heat is unbearable. Even at 2am in the morning. On the brighter side, the location of this hotel is just right at the shops and lots of restaurants around to choose. Two staff (young, blond) who might be not liking me, as she is not a bit bitchy when she is talking to us. I told her our room number loud and clear but 3 times she have to ask to repeat what I say. I believed I speak and pronounce the words loud and clearly. She's just being not nice to me at all. She rolled her eyes while talking to us. I guess, I hope shes not treating all the other non-caucasian guests they have, the same she treats me.
