I love a hotel that can remain agile and flexible, while still maintaining their professional exterior and interior. The staff are amazing, this won me over. That coupled with a very warm, cozy, homelike atmosphere in my room made the stay perfect! It really felt like I was interacting with friends as I stayed on a few different occasions, nothing was too much and the refreshing pool was a game changer in the extreme weather conditions we had over January. The great thing for myself was, and the other guests, I stayed cool and well rested in my very comfortable surroundings. In addition, I had made two last minute (very late) changes to dates, the hotel staff facilitated the changes without a problem; very professional. Loved it.

Although our room was spacious and clean the bathroom was not for an elderly couple. The spa was inviting but deep (about 70cm - I didnt measure it and only a guess) and huge but unusable for anyone our age to climb in - and the tiny shower head was in the spa !! There was one handle on the wall but the thought of a wet person trying to climb out and possibly falling was too much. So we didnt/couldnt shower. The single bed, although very comfortable did not have any sort of bedside table or lamp, to put my glasses/phone/glass of water/anything on. There was a bench where the kettle fridge microwave etc was nearby but it was unreachable when in bed and one had to actually get out of bed to get a torch/glasses etc in the night. A lamp somewhere would have helped for a toilet stop. However the queen size bed was fine. We didnt discover the spa/shower until late at night when we got back from our event and so it was too late to ask for a room change. Regardless of guest ages the lack of bedside table/lamp was not acceptable.

We were fortunate to receive an upgrade to an apartment. It was exceptionally clean and huge. My children loved the big spa bath. The pool was also good. There were overflowing rubbish bins near the pool which did may it less appealing. Staff were friendly and helpful.
