The service I received was fantastic, staying overnight on a motorcycle ride from Melbourne to Adelaide return. I received a complimentary upgrade from the host. A single bedroom to a double bedroom and undercover protection for my MC. It has a small English pub atmosphere, warm, friendly, and intimate. I would recommend staying in Robe because of the host and the room.

Overall good stay but has room for improvement

Strategic location, closes to the beach and eateries. Only setback is the room quite dusty and shared bathroom. Make it a bit of inconvenience.

A Little Treasure

The Caledonian Inn is quaint, well preserved and buzzing with life. The small bar is like stepping back into another time and world. The bar, think old Scotland. There are several dining areas from quieter candle lit tables to long trestle tables that seated many and a courtyard with tables. I dined on the local crayfish, served with a delicious salad and one of the best tasting chips I have eaten. I found the Caledonian Inn a little gem.
