Red Carpet Motel

Though it is a budget motel, the room we got was terrible with cracks and paint peeling on the walls, mouldy carpets and doors, hairs and dust and waste papers on the drawer and the worst of all the TOILET was not cleaned after some one used last time and fecal matter dried on top and sides. Though the staffs were friendly, there were no communication between them and very little follow ups . I am still waiting for their reply. PLEASE AVOID.

Not new but large and comfortable. All linen and bathroom facilities were a good quality. Shower was strong and enjoyable. Usual selection of basic tea and coffee was available. Excellent little restaurant and bar in the motel next door where you had to check in.

Room had a musty smell and the tap in the bathroom was faulty but otherwise it was fine for an overnight stay.

I mean, would I post pics of my room to brag on Facebook? No. Would I be able to swim in the pool that looks so inviting in their pictures, but is actually drained and abandoned? Also no. But am I glad it only cost $** for the three of us to get a good nights sleep? Definitely.

Unfortunately, I was not able to reach the heating. So I was unable to actually turn it on. So I froze all night, and also, unfortunately, the TV would not work for normal channels. The only way I could get something on the TV was to use my own hotspot and use that to watch Netflix. Uh, when I got in the shower. I slipped as the floor was very slippery. Unfortunately, I was not happy at all with my accommodation and would not recommend it. I have paid cheaper. Definitely had a lot better service in many ways. Very disappointed and will not be back
