I had a good sleep and stay. The staff checked me in early. I didn't get to try the pool but it looks very good. I didn't see the gym. 11am check out isn't suitable for late flights but it is what it is. The Beer was over $18 on a public holiday. Not sure why this is. In every other country I have been to the beer stays the same price. If the price was low I would of eaten and drank there. But I walked to the Tavern 1 mile up the road where they do $20 steaks and $7.50 scooners. I would stay again and have stayed at the novtel about 10 times now. Thanks for the 18% discount, I will use it. J

Pros: - The main highlight of this hotel is the pool! It is resort-like and it doesn’t seem like you’re in Darwin. It is beautiful! It got cleaned everyday and the staff working in the pool area were very friendly, accommodating and attentive. They gave us towels and they even offered Floaties for the kids! ♥️ - The room we had was spacious and also had a balcony with a pool view, which was a plus. Overall, the staff were friendly and accommodating. - In our 2nights stay, housekeeping gave us fresh towels on the second day which was a plus. They also emptied our bins. - The cleaner was very hard working in sweeping off water from the rain to ensure guests won’t slip Cons: - Some of the poolside umbrellas were broken due to strong winds. - One of the teaspoons in the room still had dirt and one of the mugs had hair. I did advise housekeeping and they were quick to apologise and they cleaned it. - The sheets also had stains. - At the moment, their carpark is far and is a bit of a walk. It is currently Darwin’s rainy season which makes the distance of the carpark an inconvenience but it’s a good thing that in-house guests didn’t need to pay for parking. - The TV didn’t have Netflix/YouTube options Overall, it was a good stay and good value for money ♥️

Perfectly located next to the airport as a 1 night stay in transit to next flight. I arrived very late evening as a stop over for a next day flight to Asia. My room was no more than 3 star level with dated 70's furniture and in need of a make over, but convenient given my minimal stay. The reception was efficient and all the breakfast staff in the restaurant were fantastic and very polite which made up for the poor room quality.

Nice place. Good staff. Disappointing bar is open til ten but having arrived just after 9pm their was no meals or room service available at all. Had to rely on Uber eats. With the high quality of these hotel brands I expected more.

We have a great time with friends who also checked in at the hotel, the pool were big and was clean
