We had a nice stay but it was dampened by a few let downs. Our room was left open by housekeeping whilst we were on a Daintree tour. The door completely unlocked for several hours for anyone to access. We only received apologies and no information about a follow up with house keeping even though I was clearly very upset about this situation. Our food for breakfast was pricey and not up to standard for the price. Example, my choc chip pancakes with strawberries was served with one strawberry cut in half for about $20. The location, pool and games services were fantastic and we didn’t dine for lunch or dinner so we cannot comment on that. Beautiful weather and beautiful surroundings.

Pros: The resort is away from the town centre, which makes it quiet and peaceful. It is not near the main swimming area with the large safety net and lifeguards, but this also means less noise and crowds. A local shuttle is available: $10 return or $6 one way, which is convenient. Located behind Four Mile Beach and within walking distance of the beach. Reception staff are responsive and helpful. Wi-Fi connection was good. TV channels were good, and you can connect your phone to watch Netflix if you have a subscription. The pool was excellent — warm, clean, and enjoyable. It could use more lighting at night, as it gets quite dark. The resort layout is beautiful, with a rainforest-style design, the long trees, boardwalks, and a very tropical feel. Not overly large, but lovely to walk around. It was not crowded when I was there and it was amazing!! Facilities include a gym, lift, massage and games room. The resort felt natural, tropical, and relaxing. The room was excellent — very comfortable, spacious, modern, and perfect for a good night’s sleep. Shower water pressure was good. Bathroom was large, modern, and well ventilated and well designed. Light housekeeping knocks in the morning, and you can request milk, tea, coffee, detergent, and towels. You can exchange used towels, bedsheets, pillowcases, bin bags, and dishwashing liquid at reception. Ironing board, iron, broom, and dustpan are provided in the room. Reception can be reached easily by dialing 9. Guests are informed about a Club Wyndham presentation. Attendance is optional, and if you attend, you receive a $100 voucher usable at the resort, Woolworths, and some other shops and you get a wristband which acts as a key to your hotel room and free use of the bikes. There is no pressure to join. You can ask Reception to keep your luggage where they will attach a tag with your name and give you a note after check out so that you can collect it when it is departure time. Cons: The fridge is quite small and cannot fit larger food items. There is no bathroom ventilation, so you need to leave the door open to manage humidity and smells. No microwave in the room or common areas. Even upon request, guests cannot use a microwave unless they book a specific room type that includes one. No full housekeeping service — guests are expected to clean the room themselves. Laundry is available but costs $6 per wash. Events such as Christmas lunch or dinner must be booked well in advance. Overall: A very comfortable, peaceful, and well-designed tropical resort with excellent rooms and a relaxing atmosphere. Best suited for guests who value comfort and quiet over being close to the town centre and who are happy with self-managed housekeeping.

메인타운까지는 차로 5분정도 이동해야하는 단점 빼고는 모든것이 완벽한 숙소였어요! 전체적인 시설 크기가 너무 크지도않고 딱 적당했고, 방과 욕실도 넓고 침대도 크고 아주 편안했습니다. 영어실력이 어설픈데도 직원들이 매우 친절하게 응대해줘서 너무 고마웠어요~

We had initially booked an airbnb in the resort, which turned out to be a terrible experience the moment we checked in. Thankfully, the reception supervisor was so helpful in helping me contact the owner of the airbnb and then booking a room for us so late in the evening. Our experience turned around thanks to the friendly and helpful staff, clean and spacious rooms, decent restaurant and lovely pool. My kids enjoyed the free fish feeding too. Location is great if you have a car which we did. The breakfast included option was also really worth it having 25 aud credit per person to spend on. The only thing I wasn't so happy about is that the daily light housekeeping doesn't include vacuuming/cleaning the floors/carpet. It is just them making up the bed and providing fresh towels. One time, they didn't even take the trash out nor take all the used towels out. With young kids in the room eating all the time, crumbs are inevitable and it's unhygienic to have them not cleaned up, especially since we were staying there for 4 nights. They did come in to clean the floor though upon request, but it makes me feel like a burden having to just request it. Otherwise it was a great experience overall!

Very spacious and clean room. Extremely helpful and friendly staffs at the reception. But quite out of the way from Port Douglas city centre, about 7 - 10 drive away. No direct beach access, need about 10min walk from the back gate of the resort. Average hotel. Not particularly impressed.
