Although there was shared facilities, I didn’t ever run into anybody else in the bathroom and let’s face it Hundreds of people were using the same toilets in the public facilities so I didn’t see a problem with it at my motel. It was coded efficiently so I felt safe. There were plenty of towels supplied and I was just metres from the centre of town it certainly was not the Hilton but for the price I had to have saved about $1500. I only slept there and showered there. I was going all day long so not a problem Annie the Cleaner was lovely. I had booked last minute for the Elvis festival, I’m glad I did

The parkes hotel
Very basic, very clean, great hot water, clean toilets and shower. Not suitable if you can't do stairs. To get to rooms, you use external staircase. Bed extra comfy. It was perfect for me. Would stay again.

Nice pld pub
I like staying old pubs, and they are slowly disappearing from the landscape. Although not now trading as a pub it still had pub accommodation. The price was good, the room was good, and the communication was excellent. Highly recommended if you like old pubs.
