The Prospector Lawrence

Riding the Clutha gold trail. I arrived and was attended to immediately. I was shown around all facilities by the owners. I was told that the shower was good and it was, almost pinned me to the back wall of the shower with the water pressure. Felt really good after the efforts of the day. Was able to get a good feed at the cafe connected to the accommodation. I was very impressed with the presentation of the accommodation and cafe and very impressed with the way the staff treated everyone that came into the cafe or accommodation. I was impressed with the owners and the way they related to their staff and customers and nothing was too difficult for them to deal with from my regard. I actually was going to stay here on a previous trip but had to cancel my accommodation and the owner actually offered to drive me to the airport 70 km away so that I could catch a flight. This sort of action seems to be typical of how I saw them operate. I would definitely stay here again and have no qualms about recommending it to anyone else.

Wonderful place to stay as reasonably priced and central location. The staff are warm, friendly and helpful. Perfect for doing the bike trail.
