We loved it!!

- Booked 1 out of the 9 villas with a great view over the lake and was impressed at booking that when requested for baby bath tub, they said they don’t have it but will buy one for our stay. A big tick! - Very flexible in breakfast, afternoon tea and evening cocktails arrangements in terms of time and venue. - Bella was most friendly to us and our daughter - Yet Sandy was amazingly helpful to us when whe helped us do urgent laundry for our daughter as she vomited after the trip to Milford sound. She really saved our day because my daughter would need her favourite bear back for sleep that night. I would see that as “service from the heart”. - Housekeeping may miss 1 or 2 things during daily cleaning like replenishing tissue boxes, clearing rubbish bins, cleaning the kitchenette areas, replacing the rubbish bags, request for extra bottle of milk etc. but they are all minor and compensated by the hospitality from most of the staff there. - The property can think of more ESG or sustainability related initiatives on amenities and utilities like water and power. - We will certainly be back if coming back to Queenstown again.

Stunning views and amazing rooms (it really is as good as the photos !), quiet and remote (a long way from the hustle and bustle of busy Queenstown). Very helpful and attentive staff. Great breakfast, simple snacks and drinks but no in-house restaurant. Do offer in-room dining from local take-aways but no quality offerings as would be expected from guests of the Azur

Our stay at Azur was the highlight of our trip to NZ. The staff were so thoughtful, friendly, and helpful. Everything is uniquely catered to your needs, and the tiniest details have been considered. Our villa had an extra power adapter, a yoga mat, a little sewing kit, a tiny stapler, a laundry bag, a hair straightener/flat iron… I could keep going. And this is on top of all the built in amenities that are so wonderful. The food and drinks are excellent. We had breakfast in our villa all 3 mornings we were there and it was hot and fresh each morning. The canapés and afternoon tea desserts were delicious. It’s a quick drive into town and the staff were eager to drop us off, pick us up, and work with our tour operators to do weather checks and arrange pick ups. We were always able to get a ride into town whenever we needed it and never had to wait more than a minute or 2 to be picked up and taken back to Azur. The views of Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables are incredible. Words and pictures don’t do it justice! You truly have your own personal little piece of Queenstown and it’s amazing views while at Azur. The first day we were there it was pretty rainy and cloudy, but even in those conditions you can’t beat the view. I really can’t recommend Azur enough. It is worth every. penny. I hope to go back someday!

Azur Lodge is a dream. My wife and I stayed 8 nights during our honeymoon and we wish we could have extended our stay. The main lodge was stocked with delicious holiday treats, a beautiful full bar, and a relaxing living room with fire place. We enjoyed top notch breakfasts, afternoon tea, and canapés at the main lodge and from the comfort of our villa. The Azur Lodge team is the definition of hospitality and made our stay so memorable. They booked our in-villa massages, yoga, sky dividing, and jet boating. We appreciate Azur Lodge for making our honeymoon a dream, and thank you in particular, to Linda, Rasmus, Julia, Cynthia, Nina, and Vanessa. if you are visiting Queenstown, look no further. We can't wait to visit again.
