레이크스 엣지 홀리데이 파크

The camping site was located right in front of Lake Tekapo with benches with great views. The shared bathroom was clean enough but the 6min timer on hot water was too short for a nice shower. The cabin was a simple room with a bed but was good enough for a stay. Overall good value for money!

제가 이용한 방은 조리시설이 없어서 야외에 있는 공동 주방에 가서 요리를 해서 다시 방으로 가지고 들어왔어야 했어요ㅠㅠ 앞에 호수도 보이고 어차피 다들 차로 움직이기 때문에 교통은 상관없다고 생각해요.

乾淨舒適，小孩玩到不想回房間

The holiday park is in an amazing location. It's a few minutes drive to church of shepherd. It is also beside a petting zoo if anyone is interested in farm animals. It is also by Lake Tekapo, which is absolute stunning. We managed to see the sunset and sunrise by the Lake. However, the down sides are the rooms and amenities. There is only one outlet in the whole room, and the position is odd. The hot water for the toilet is also bad. There is a system in place where by the hot water will stop after 8 minutes, and also you have to wait for a 2 minutes interval to get hot water again. If you enter the toilet and use the remaining hot water from the previous person, you will be left in the cold for a good 2 minutes. We went in the transition towards Winter, and standing in the cold in the toilet is not a great idea. The toilet doesn't really have heater too. All in all is a great location with many down sides, and there are many people there for the view, but not enough toilets/kitchens for everyone.

It's nice place for 1 day visit. If you have vehicle, otherwise in market Tekapo Motel is good. Getting public transport is big big challenge. No restaurant is there nearby or within the premises. In absence of Vehicle, 10 to 15 minutes walking is compulsory and for Senior Citizen like me It's challenge. Lucky to get help from the hotel shuttle person, who has been kind and considerate. Gents staffs members are good.
