We stayed here as a couple during a holiday weekend when almost every accommodation in Rotorua was fully booked. We were very lucky to get the last available room. At first, we didn’t expect much because the price was very reasonable, and the room description mentioned shared bathrooms. However, when we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised to find that our room actually had a private ensuite bathroom. The room was comfortable for the two of us. There was a bunk bed, and we simply used the top bunk to store our bags. Everything was clean and had what we needed for a one-night stay. The only downside was that the TV wasn’t working, but for the price we paid, it wasn’t a big issue. The location is another big plus. It’s close to the city centre and many attractions, with most places only a 10–15 minute drive away. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely consider staying here again. Next time, we’ll make sure to book earlier, especially during holiday periods.

Convenient stay
We stayed at the Rotorua Thermal Holiday Park for 2 nights and had a lovely time. We stayed in a log cabin that had the capacity to have 4 people however there was only 2 of us. The location was great- we had access to many tourist attractions and the staff were very helpful. However the facilities weren’t great. The pool was very small and had full exposure to the sun which wasn’t pleasant on a sunny day. We stayed in the EL cabin section which we recommend staying as it had an outlook onto a grass field whilst the cabins towards the reception didn’t have nearly as much greenery.

Christmas in the Park
Loved everything about my one night stay in a 6 bunk dorm, especially because the kind office lady made sure I had it to myself! It was quiet and peaceful, even on Christmas Day. The bed was comfy and the cabin super clean. A lovely hot pool soak, followed by a swim in the pool before checking out made the stay complete. Definitely will come again. Thank you staff.

Decent place, doesn't have private bathrooms, 4 km from town, has some nice little thermal pools (hot tubs basically).

Always an awesome stay. Staff are friendly and inviting. Nothing like getting back from a days activities and hoping into a hot pool to relax and chill out. Highly recommend staying
