The O Spa is lovely looking. It's a very self- serve place with no real staff to be seen. But, there were a few problems. First, our room had no towels at all. When I told the cleaning person, she told ME to go get them in the office. The main pool was not heated and despite the 75degree weather, it was far too cold for swimming. Third, we killed 3 fat Palmetto bugs in our room scurrying across the floor. And, the walls are thin, as we heard our neighbors talking and singing late at night! But, it wasn't a total bust... kind of 2.5 of 5 stars.

First I want to say that the staff and support are top notch. Our room didn’t have a shower and they switched us to a room with a shower with no problems. Having said that here are the cons. First of all, behind our building are the trash bins and daily there were homeless picking through them for hours. Secondly, the pool was freezing so we didn’t use it. even though their hot tub “grotto” was great! Large spacious and very cool. The bed in the goldfinger room is very uncomfortable and warped in the middle and the shower barely has room for an adult to turn without scraping the walls. My biggest pet peeve was that the air conditioner had mold so we couldn’t run it because of the smell abd obvious health risks associated with that so we had it off. Problem is that it gets hot during the day and cold at night. So no AC/heater is a deal breaker. The comforter in the goldfinger room was also very thin so it made it very uncomfortable all night long. As a result, We left at 4:30 AM to get home to our own bed. The lounge is great but there are too many cons for us to stay here again until all these problems are fixed. Otherwise the place is very cool and zen and pet friendly. Location is about a 25 min drive away from Palm Springs so if you’re planning to hang out only in Hot Springs, I don’t recommend staying at the O Spa. Too far from PS.

Wow, first of all this place is very nice. #1- Each of the rooms is individually decorated and you 6can tell someone took special effort to bring it all together #2- Pet friendly !!!! #3- They are 420 stoner friendly, which is unusual and appreciated. #4-Heated main pool (mineral spring water, non chlorinated) as well as a couple smaller Jacuzzi/spas. #5-Not only are the rooms beautiful, the pool area immaculate, you can also get various spa treatments done here. #6- They don't bug you. It's amazing, I only got one knock a day, around checkout time, so see if we were checking out or staying. From there, they are kind enough to just let you be, not bang on your door every 5 minutes, trying to get you out. One day they knocked, I said we would be staying. Unfortunately it took close to 2 hours to get some more money on my card, yet they never bugged us, just that gets my praise big time. #7-Exclusively 21+, so no little munchkins running around, making it weirdly uncomfortable to smoke or cuss. #8- With the Agoda discount, the price went from nearly $300 to around $100 a night, total score ! For all these reasons and more, our one night reservation got extended to 2, then 3, then 4 nights. I would definitely stay here again, as there are many "hot spring spas" in the area that are no where near as nice, that are in fact, dangerous to stay at, places like Miracle Springs or Dessert Springs. Avoid those spots like the plague, unless you enjoy being robbed by hotel staff, tripping over fall hazards and just yucky people. The O Spa and Resort is my new favorite ! The only (tiny) detail I would mention is if you are looking for a large, corporate place, this isn't it. It looks bigger than it is in the pictures, they only have, I believe 15 rooms altogether. For me, that's a plus, if you are looking for a big name, breakfast included, 5 story tall kind of place, look elsewhere.

Our inaugural visit exceeded expectations, providing a relaxing poolside experience. The accommodations and common areas were impeccably clean. We enjoyed the company of many friendly couples and had a thoroughly pleasant stay. We plan to return.

Not luxury, but ok. Spartan room, few amenities. But quiet, and nice for adults
