아이시클 빌리지 리조트

I stayed at Icicle Village in one of their Studio Rooms. It's off the main resort area, and may be a sort of managed AirBnB situation. It was unclear, but based on how great the rest of the resort was, I'm inclined to think so; a company named "Vacasa" sent almost all of my travel itenerary. My room's refridgerator was so iced over that it couldn't close, and would leak everywhere. The mattress felt collapsed and second-hand. I had a coffee maker and kitchen cleaning supplies (great!) but no kitchen or coffee grounds. Bathtub leaked, the water wasn't hot, and the shower stall glass had enough gaps that the floor was wet every shower. The showers also had soap dispensers, and my body wash was empty by the last day. Was it the worst trip in the world? No; the resort itself is nice and clean and I was able to take advantage of a lot of services to make up for what my room amenities could not handle. But, at the end of the day, for a property that brands itself as a "resort," I found the room very very lacking. That may be Vacasa's problem, and not Icicle Village's. But it wasn't clear who was going to fix what, and my guess is that Icicle only keeps the rooms clean, and Vacasa is on the hook for everything else. If you can, try booking at the Resort-managed rooms specifically. They're a lot closer, cleaner, and the staff are far more engaged than they were with me when they discovered I was in a Studio.

Rooms have been remodeled. Breakfast has a nice variety even for my picky kids. They loved the game room with air hockey and a couple arcade games. Parking was easy. It is a little bit of a walk into town for my kids but very easy for adults or older kids.

Good location, nice staff, super clean. WiFi connection not great.

Pros: close enough to town, very comfortable bed and room was clean. Amenities seem nice however we did not participate in them. Lots of parking. Cons: toilet was either running the entire time or in order to flush you had to have your hand in the tank fixing the chain or pushing down on the stopper. Shower leaked so after every shower we had to mop up the floor. To be fair we never reported either issue because we weren’t in the room except to sleep. I can look past a lot for a comfy bed so I would stay here again but likely not.

What a little treasure right on the edge of the bustling area is Leavenworth. We were pleasantly surprised with the facilities, we picked a budged friendly accessible room, but even so the room and facilities for the price was awesome. We would totally come back!
