Other than being woken up by the laundry trolley on cobblestones sounding like war broke out at 6am... the place was decent

Was very worried about a gap under the door any rodent could just walk in and stain on rug , other than that it was nice but that made you fell like you were in a cheap $*** a night motel . The rug throw it out spread $*** and get a new one very dated, toilet was very low , very noisy ac in bedroom , something was banging around in the ductwork. Location was great. Almost right next to the pier. Went to see a rocket launch which was nice, sight isn’t let you load pictures , I’ve tried 4 times, Spend the extra $*** a night but not even sure how that will be either

We stayed here the night before a SpaceX Falcon Heavy launch meaning it was much more expensive than the typical rate. I left the booking until the day before, so had to pay a hefty premium. Because of this I feel it wasn't worth it, however if typical rooms are sub £100 I'd say it's fair. It's a motel spread across several buildings. Check in was quick and easy. We mentioned about the launch and we're told we would be able to see if right from the beach next to the hotel. The room itself was adequate. The Aircon was very noisy, the mattresses very springy and the whole room had a damp/foisty smell. Besides that it was clean and huge. The shower was incredible. Breakfast was a simple typical U.S offering of waffles, pancakes, eggs and sausages. It was all delicious. Nothing posh, nothing extravagant, but exactly as expected. The lady in the breakfast restaurant was super friendly and excited to tell us about the launch and how the windows would be rattling. We headed to the beach to watch the launch. Thankfully it launched exactly as planned, and while you could see it go up, it didn't really make a sound due to how far we were away. I'm not sure how close we could have got at 07:25, but I was at least hoping for the ground to shake a bit. Nevertheless it was excellent to be there, at sunrise, on a packed beach watching a $4bn rocket go up. The boosters coming back to land did create a sonic boom which made everyone jump. After the launch we returned to the premises and used one of the pools which was just ideal and very quiet. There were also games to be played on the artificial grass which was a nice touch. All in all, the hotel was a solution to a problem that I left too late. I wouldn't stay here again as I'm not a fan of motels.

This hotel has very friendly staff and they try hard to make your stay comfortable. The laundry room was very close to our room, but be prepared to bring lots of quarters, because there are vending machines for the washers & detergent, but no change machine. There is also an ice machine near the pool which we did not find until our last day visiting! Free breakfast was way too crowded, so we didn't eat there, but the food looked decent. The pool and firepit area looked very nice, right outside of our room too. Although the room was small, and not in the big ocean front building which is pictured in the website, the location made up for the room. We were given a room in a one floor side building which seemed to be an older part of the building that was probably renovated in the early 2000's. Even though the room was not as expected, the value of staying there was the proximity to the beach. I was able to walk onto the beach, and run back to the room as needed. Also, the Fish Camp Restaurant was steps away, across from our room, and was definitely worth the visit. There was live music, pool tables, games, and good food. If you want a fun, family experience in Cocoa Beach, and don't want to spend much time in your room, and you love the beach, this hotel would be a good choice!

Amazing location! Beautiful section of beach! Located in a cute area! Right by the pier and restaurants! Would stay there again!
