I booked this hotel because of the price and ratings. When I arrived I was prepared for an unpleasant stay, but from the moment I stepped on property I got way better than expected. Upon check in, the front desk lady informed me that she had already turned on the heat in the room upon getting the reservation. This was a very nice touch of customer service that not a lot of places would do. The facilities here are old. It's an old property, but upon close inspection, it's clear that s lot of work has been done to make sure everything works and is as clean as possible. Upon entering the room you can see that lot of care has been put into making you comfortable. All of the fixtures are in nearby perfect working order. The sliding glass door is in great wlcondition, with working locks and well oiled tracks. The room is visibly clean, and there are none of the musky smells you'd expect from a property this old. The bed passes a cleanliness check easy, as does the rest of the room. The bathroom fixtures are old but very well maintained and cleaner than many newer properties I've stayed at. The rooms are on the smaller side, but really they are all you need. You're not cramped and have plenty of room to move around in. The bed is extremely comfortabl as well. The TV and all lamps work well. Overall, your not going to get a luxury stay here. But what you will get is a clean, well maintained older property that the employees clearly take pride in. I feel completely comfortable here, with no questions about safety and cleanliness. Definitely choose to stay here or you are on a budget. My one issue is their King Suite. I' expect a larger room, better amenities, etc. In reality the extra money for the room is for a couch. There's zero difference in the rooms other than that and I certainly don't believe that just having a couch in the room justifies the higher price point. Stick with the normal rooms.

Was worst place we have ever stayed there was live and dead cock roaches in the room. When we got there we checked the pool out and it had a bunch of white stuff floating on it and gross looking stuff on the bottom. At night there was a guy going around opening doors not only our room but also others who was staying there saying he was making sure we didn't need housekeeping
