The first night we stayed in the Bamboo village. But it was raining hard so some stuff downstairs in the dinning room got rained on and and the storm knocked the Internet connection. Too close to the pond so quite noisy (frogs singing) some joined us in our room. The bed was not comfortable. The second night we moved to a more modern bungalow over looking the mountain. It's nice. Mang Hendri, the care taker, welcomed us warmly and he and his wife took good care of us. It's not too far from the city but it's quiet. We will consider going back for a retreat.

A nice get away place

nice ambiance

It's a nice getaway place. It's not far from the city, you can get fresh air and a nice natural ambiance from the surrounding environment. View Bogor city from uphill and the mount as the background of the facilities are perfect. And very nice services from the person who takes care of the facilities is very much appreciated.

Vila Lumbung

Saya menginap dg suami selama 3hari 2 malam. Harga masih terjangkau untuk season Lebaran. Pak Hendri & Istri sangat helpfull & responsive. Jalanan bagus, hanya aja ± 200meter menuju lokasi sangat2 berbatu. Saya di tipe Bambu, banyak semut besar2, ada cicak beberapa di kamar nya. Pemandangan sangat bagus gugusan gunung gede dari kamar. Fasilitas kompor, bbrp alat masak, alat makan, dispenser isi 1 air galon full, Baru datang ada welcome snack pisang goreng tepung (ini enak, manis) & teh panas 1 teko. Malam ke2, kami order BBQ untuk 2 orang, dikasih slice beef ±500gr, bw bombay 1, bbrp bw putih, saus bbq, saus sambal, bbrp helai selada fresh, mentega. Kami bbq di luar kamar. View nya lampu kota bogor & kembang api. Kami wisata jalan kaki ke Hutan Pinus yg berada sangat dekat dg Villa, sejuk, menyenangkan. Kemudian kami jalan kaki (trekking) ke Curug Putri, banyak Vila2 lain juga sekitar situ. Villa Lumbung ini sudah masuk list saya jika ingin total healing di Bogor. Mungkin akan coba type lain nya, ga cuma di bambu. Thanks, we both love this Villa. ❤️
