Creole Cottage Uptown

While the property has its charm, there are several issues that impacted my stay. First, the front porch light was left on all night, which caused significant disruption as my room faced directly onto the porch. The drapes did little to block the light, forcing me to get up during the night to turn it off manually. Additionally, the bathtub setup presents a real safety concern. The standing show in a tub space is extremely confined, with no grab bars or support features—only a flimsy shower curtain surrounding a pedestal tub. A slip or loss of balance could result in serious injury, as there is absolutely nothing to hold on to. The sink area was also poorly designed, offering no counter space whatsoever. Furthermore, the lone bath mat provided appeared old and unclean—an odd choice, especially given the lack of a second mat where one would reasonably expect it.
