그로브 리조트 & 워터 파크 올랜도

Got there the evening of the 19th and the air conditioning wasn’t working. Call downstairs and they told me that they would send someone immediately. Well, it didn’t get fixed until the next evening after i had to make 2 or 3 more calls. The living room blinds were stuck open, couldn’t close them the whole time I was there. Had to stay in the room at night so everyone couldn’t see me and what I was doing. The refrigerator was warm, barely keeping my food cold. The water when you take a shower puddled up at your feet with dirt all around your feet and the water backed up. All the electrical sockets didn’t work. Last but definitely not least, whoever cleans the rooms didn’t put the dishes you’re suppose to wash when you leave back in the cabinets to get reused by the new renters. Whoever owns 1738, if there is an owner should be ashamed to rent that unit out until everything is fixed and checked in there.

This place is so beautiful n nice feel like home away from home .

We are upgraded from a two bedroom, two bedroom suite to a three bedroom, three bathroom, which was nice. Our view was of a construction site though. We were able to Instacart food to cook from Publix, which was convenient. But we learned shortly after that the oven would not heat up past 216 and the oven light never turns off. The kitchen is stocked with plates, utensils, cups, and cookware, minus a much-needed spatula and the glass cookware exploded when heated up. The kitchen experience left much to be desired to say the least. The pools were great and heated. The spa is no longer in business. My son and I were interested in the sauna. Resort is a quick Uber ride or free shuttle to local attractions .

The hotel was nice. The room was great, but we were incredibly disappointed that they don’t want you bringing outside food to the pool/waterpark area. We have 4 kids, bringing a few snacks shouldn’t be an issue. Especially when they are charging what they charge for a simple chicken fingers and fries. Not to mention the automatic 20% gratuity on everything. Like this is WILD. Two drink at the bar…single margaritas…$42 plus and $9 automatic gratuity. We always tip, but an additional 20% on drinks is insane, especially when we are walking to the bar to get them. Also, the whole reason we came to this hotel was for the waterpark and large rooms available. Why on top of the room cost which was ***, was there an added “resort fee” of $50, and a daily parking fee of $35. Again, nice hotel, but the fees and making it hard to bring kids will keep us from coming back. You should be allowed to bring anything you want into the waterpark…Adventure Island lets you bring in snacks…

The water park was nice but that was about it, my room had a toaster that only half worked, the freezer was stuck closed, the toilet handle was broken and had to be fixed by maintenance. But I think the worse part is the smell and up keep of the hallways adding up to the rooms, second floor d hallway has mold all on the roof. Not a bad hotel but for as much as they charge it should be a little better up kept in my opinion.
