The La Quinta Inn & Suites guest room (#135) and bathroom were very clean and stocked with 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels and 2 face clothes. The front desk personal were both friendly and kind. However, the reason for why I rated a 7 for the recommendation to others is because, the breakfast that La Quinta served fell short of being a pleasant way to start the day. The personal who were assigned the duties of the breakfast were not friendly and had a disposition of, "Don't bother me. I'm just here to do my job." This became known on the first day when I asked the attendant manning the dining room area if there were going to be more eggs made as there were none at moment in the pan. The attitude, pulse and vibe I got from her was as previously described; less than friendly. Furthermore, on the 3rd day there were no eggs served because, they had run out. The hash brown potato's were not cooked and/or prepared well at all everyday. They tasted like they were not fully prepared properly and should not have been served to the guest as they tasted very dry and absent of all flavor. Because of this, I would make a cautious recommendation to stay at this hotel leaning on the redeeming factor that the guest rooms and bathroom are more than satisfactory and very-clean. La Quinta by Wyndham can be very proud of that. One other point of note in my evaluation. The free WiFi internet connection and speed was very good. I was able to connect to the WiFi at 5GHz/120-150kbps connection speeds. However, on the 3rd day, the network kept reconnecting me to the 2.4GHz/72kbps side of the router which is more than twice as slow as the 5GHz side of the router. This was most noticeable. Why is that? Why did the router automatically reconnect my connection to an inferior and slower connection speed? I did not initiate that action. So, why did the router make that very unwelcomed change? I noticed this because I have certain utilities that keep me informed about the WiFi connections that I make with this computer. This unexpected reconnection was not appreciated at all as many of my research resources are online and when I open my browser (Brave) there are 8-tabs that will automatically open to those recourses when I start the Brave Browser. So, this is another point that I would raise in any recommendation I would make for others to be aware of. Overall, I gave an 8 evaluation as one of the most impressive features of this hotel is the fact that the room doors have a “breaking” feature to keep the room doors from slamming shut. These breaking-braces were not installed at the Wyndham Hotel at Gettysburg, or the Days Inn at Gettysburg. These are two hotels that I have recently stayed at in the last 6-months. Needless to say this feature is VERY much appreciated and something that I will positively mention to others, as the slamming of guest room doors is a bit of an unpleasant disturbance, especially late at night.

Clean and safe. Good options for breakfast

Good value for the money, and always great to have a hot breakfast. Room was clean and spacious, and bed was comfortable.

Clean, good breakfast, easy check in, honestly the nicest hotel at this price point we've stayed at lately. A solid place to stop. The Dove products in the room were a nice touch. Bright light outside the window at night but the blinds were perfectly functional.

The rooms are of nice size and comfortable. The breakfast is not necessarily sumptuous but it is nice. The staff is very friendly and accommodating! Ten minutes from the airport it’s a good location for travelers.
