I wanted to take a moment to share my recent experience at your establishment. While the courteous front desk staff provided a warm welcome, unfortunately, the cleanliness of our room fell short of expectations. Upon arrival, we were disappointed to find used beds and trash on the bed, indicating that the room had not been properly cleaned after the previous guests. However, I must commend the swift response of your housekeeping staff in rectifying the situation. They were efficient and professional in ensuring our comfort during our stay. Additionally, I appreciated the gesture of the breakfast coupons and turkey sandwich offered as compensation for the inconvenience. Overall, the ambiance from the lobby to the hallway was delightful, and it’s clear that your team strives to maintain a high standard of hospitality. I hope that this feedback serves as constructive criticism to improve the guest experience and ensure that all rooms meet the expected standards of cleanliness.

The morning after our first day at the King's Ray Hotel The youngest son caught a cold. I turned on the heater because the room was so cold all night, I found out the next day that there was a problem with the room because the heater was broken. I asked the hotel to change rooms, but they said there was only a small room (this is a room with two people). We can't pay a penny for our accommodation. Rather, I'm on the verge of having a cold and having to go to the hospital. A hotel engineer who visited our room on the 2nd day said he knew that some of the rooms on the 3rd floor, including our room, had a heater problem. Nevertheless, I think it's a serious problem to sell these rooms to customers. I pointed this out to Sean Hughes, the hotel manager, but he denied that he already knew, but I think the cause of the heater problem is already a structural problem and it is true that the hotel already knew. In any case, after staying overnight in a defective room, our youngest son caught a cold and asked us to change rooms on the 2nd day, but there was only room 213 (a smaller room than the deluxe room we booked), and the room is for 2 people, so we cannot stay for 3 people.

Good option for a business trip in Detroit. It's a good 3-star hotel outside of the city, in a nice area, closer to factories/ headquarters of companies on the outskirts of Detroit. Restaurant next door is expensive for what you get, but it's a nice place to take a client. Breakfast restaurant is great value however! Hotel lobby looks great, yet the hallways look like a highway motel... "Pool" is tiny with room for 2 people, don't expect to "swim". Gym is well stocked. Rooms are spacious and clean.

The hotel has excellent staff, but the building is dated, in need of a makeover. The pool is nice but the facility it is in is not attractive. It is ok to stay because there are not other 4 stars hotels around. I would rate this 3 stars overall

This hotel is conveniently located. Rooms are clean and quiet. Both restaurants are excellent.
