The hotel was fine, it could have been a little bit cleaner but the staff there were amazing. Super friendly and really cared about our stay there. The bed was so comfy! I slept like a dog all night! Thanks again guys :) very good location as well.

Overnight stop
Fab first impression, staff friendly and helpful, room huge, tea/coffee readily available, shower over bath. The annoying fault, TV reception on bbc 1 & 2 made the stations unwatchable, l understand this isn’t the first time they’ve had complaints, this shouldn’t be happening in 2022. A comfortable chair in the room would be useful as well. Comfortable night sleep. Anne ( Harrogate )

Excellent setup for visits to Retford and Weddings

Cheap and cheerful
Reasonably priced, friendly staff although didn’t see them much. Lorry park is loud nearby and vehicles moving all night (take earplugs as I did). I have stayed several times as family in Retford, so cheapest option, as hotels charge silly money for a bed nearby. I will be using again

Cheap and cheerful
The room and bathroom were spotless and the bed and pillows very comfortable, but the room was too hot so I wished there was a flat sheet I could have used instead of the duvet. The telly was a bit small considering the distance to the bed (no chance of reading subtitles) and the carpet could do with replacing. Kas on reception was so lovely, particularly when I started crying (I was staying overnight ahead of a funeral). There's a Waitrose at the garage next door which is just as well as the KFC closes at 6pm on a Sunday. A great room for the price.
