Stayed at the hotel for a couple of nights and overall everything was good but really not matching the price. The cheaper rooms felt very cheap, with the bathrooms in particular plus a view of a hedge. The spa is nice but there are only 6 beds, so nowhere to sit for most people and everything outside is at a high additional cost which was not transparent in advance. There’s no welcome drinks and overall front of house staff weren’t particularly helpful with no offer of help with luggage or additional information. There were several other unexpected charges such as for other coffee in the morning, and eating in the restaurant at night the food was nice but it all felt very rushed, with pre plated chilled plates brought out, so although the food was very nice, the overall experience wasn’t matching the price you pay. There was a fire drill at 4 am which can of course happen but it would be nice if the hotel compensated with complementary coffee/drinks the following day. The bed was very comfy and the area is beautiful but it felt like a cheaper hotel than we paid for

This hotel is the best we have been to in the recent years. It offers a beautiful location overlooking Loch Fyne, a fantastic restaurant with well executed refined dishes at a reasonable price for the quality they offer, a friendly staff very welcoming and making you feel at home, a clean spa with a jacuzzi with a view of the mountains. The hotel is very dog friendly and you feel welcome with your dog in every area. Little improvements could be adding water and a fridge in the room that for a 4 star hotel are expected, expanding the car park at the back so that the 4 car spaces outside the spa can be removed.

Great facilities, terrific breakfasts. But for two days away for two people it was over £*** bed and breakfast (but this did include a massage and a facial each). Other facilities in the area offer a similar deal for considerably less.

Lovely location, enjoyed our stay food was nice , a bit expensive. Inaccurate final bill (assuming that will be resolved) another guest also had issues with bill. Still very much enjoyed weekend would recommend.

Genuinely had the best hotel experience of my life. The setting was majestical, the room gorgeous, staff really friendly, and we appreciated how welcome our dog was. The breakfast was excellent, too. We will definitely be back.
