The Stratford House Inn is a no frills place. The price reflects this and is equal for what you get. The floor turned the bottom of our feet black with dirt or something. After my shower, I used the damp towel to semi clean the floor. I took the blackened towel to the office and explained the situation. The manager seemed indifferent. Had to ask for a clean replacement towel. Took the towel to the room. My wife took a shower. Opened the replacement towel. It was black like the one I used to clean the floor. The website says free breakfast included. The breakfast consisted of coffee, two types of cereal and milk. The pet fee for two small dogs (Basenji) dogs was $23 per dog per night. $92 for our pets seemed rather high. The price of the room was reasonable, but adding the cost of the pet fee and the cost of having to go somewhere and pay for breakfast, it was not a good deal.
