The room was filthy and looked like it was in the middle of a renovation. It smelled funny. I had my own cleaning supplies, so i cleaned it and sprayed lysol and air freshener to help -There was duct tape surrounding the door to the adjoining room. -The light fixture was hanging by a wire. -The surfaces were gross. I brought clorox wipes and lysol and wiped everything down. -I brought my own bedding. The mattress was covered in the plastic from the manufacturer, but the sheets and pillows looked suspicious. -I didn't see any bugs thankfully. -They gave me 5 wash cloths and 2 hand towels at check in- no bath towels; luckily I bring my own towels. -The paint was peeling INSIDE the bathtub. -the toilet had dark stains in and around it. -There was no toilet paper or garbage can in the room at all -there were NO AMENITIES. no cups, ice bucket, phone, NOTHING. ONLY A BED AND A TV. -The remote didn't work. I didn't bother going to the office - there were sketchy people loitering, and a bullet hole in the door of the office. Due to large crowds expected in town, I was unable to find another place to stay (I'm in town for work.) I didn't expect 5 stars for the price, but did expect basic amenities (towels, clean bedding, TOILET PAPER, etc.) I travel to Baton Rouge for 2 nights every week for work, and I can tell you I will not be staying here again. Front desk rented out room that she knew the door didn't work.
Horrible I've never seen so much of people taking money and knowing that the room wasn't right

immediately upon arrival sketchy guess was offering needles in case I didn't have any for whatever drugs I ought to have been doing to stay here. The guy behind the counter was pleasant though. Tough job working there, I bet.
