We stayed in the family suite annexe. The rooms were clean and well presented. Cosmetically it might not be 100% perfect, but nothing of any concern and no stains, damage etc The beds are comfortable, bathroom facilities are clean and it was handy having a mini fridge and a lounge space once the kids were asleep. The breakfast is simple but suited our needs and the breakfast conservatory area was clean. The pool, whilst perhaps slightly dark/ dated in design kept the kids occupied after breakfast for half hour after checkout. Its 30c, so warmer than most leisure pools. Im just not sure about the carpet around the poolside. There's a huge grassy outdoor space for sunny evenings and energetic children to burn off some energy before bed. My only niggle is the shower temperature is very temperamental and is difficult to adjust it from either cold or too hot, even with tiny adjustments. Not ideal with young children. I suspect this is as much do with the water supply to the annexe...I wonder if an electric shower might be better? We didn't see the owner until we were almost ready to check out, but just like our last visit in 2018, he was friendly and chatty. It was cheaper to stay here than some of the local chain hotels in nearby thetford plus it comes with breakfast 😋 and nearby takeaways for dinner.

The pool is Not green! Cooler then some other private pools but no where near as cold as our local leisure centre pool. The shower was lovely and spacious, clean and nice and hot. The bed and sheets were clean and sooo comfortable!! Towels although not quite a bath sheet, we're good quality and clean. Plenty to watch on the big screen TV and good facilities for drinks and toiletries provided with more upon request. Beautiful calm, surroundings with easy convinient check on and out. Lovely outdoor space for families or a evening drink on the patio furniture. Breakfast a simple but fresh start to the day. Everything we needed, good variety of teas, coffee, brown & white bread for toast , cereals, yogurts and fresh fruit. Real butter provided is always a winner for us! Spa treatments seemed limited down to staff and being back holiday but very polite friendship staff. Lots to choice for dining out or take ways you can get delivered to the hotel. And every shop a short drive away in Attleborough. Over all lovely stay unnecessarily made nervous by some, from our experience, picky reviews. Everything worked well and a particularly nice touch was the heating coming on when the hot spell ended so dramatically. However, not seeing any staff did seem very futuristic

Plenty of parking, lots to eat at breakfast, clean spacious room.
