Liked the most out of all the hotels stayed in. Continental bkfast is decent. Location is wonderful. 7 mins from job. It's suppose 2 b non smoking, it's not. Some days hall reeks of smoke

The hotel was nice and quiet but for it to be a no smoking facility I smelled smoke as soon as I got off the elevator. The carpet was not clean so it held bad the bad odor. The bed was very hard. It actually didn't feel like a mattress. I like the emenities in the room but I could hear every time the room next to us shower run and toilet flush. The morning staff was very pleasant and helpful so that was a plus for me. Thanks for the stay.

Third time's a charm getting a room without either smoke smell or a troublesome neighbor but the man at the reception desk was very helpful and eventually got us a good room. Cleaning staff was very sweet and helpful. No waffle maker as pictured or hot breakfast items but rest of breakfast pretty good.

I stayed At the Greensboro Microtel for 3 nights. I checked in, got my key, unloaded my car and went to my room but when I opened the door and walked in on the occupant. Room occupied! I rolled the luggage cart back downstairs and was assigned a new room. A while later I went to tried to turn on the TV and the remote didn't work. I went to the front desk and waited in line to exchange the remote and while I was waiting someone else came to the front desk because they had been assigned an occupied room also . Batteries in the remote were replaced but the remote still didn't work. I didn't need to watch TV bad enough to wait at the front desk again. The next morning I reported the problem and sometime during the day maintenance exchanged the remote. Apparently they didn't bother to test the remote so it didn't work either and was actually the wrong remote for that model TV. I finally got a remote that worked. On the positive side the room was clean and even though there was an adjoining room it was quiet. The only noise was an occasional loud person passing in the hall. The cleaning staff did excellent work. The last night I was already in bed when the fire alarms went off! Yep, we evacuated the hotel. Firetrucks came and about 20 minutes later we were allowed back inside. I suspect someone was smoking pot in their room as evidenced by the smell in the second floor hallway. So expect clean, quiet but small rooms. BUT they definitely have front desk issues and no evidence of security personnel.

The hotel has a good location with nearby restaurants and shopping area is just a few minutes walk. The room is big compared to other hotels. The only downside of the hotel is that they serve the same breakfast everyday. We stayed their for 10days and ate the same food every morning.
