The staff were friendly. The only problem we had was the breakfast which we thought was included in the price which we found out it was only a continental breakfast, disappointed we had to pay for a cooked breakfast

We really enjoyed our stay here. After a freezing cold day at Duxford we had heating in the room. The food was wonderful and the staff very friendly. Would return

Lovely hotel, lovely staff, would definitely recommend.

Not an impressive offering for the price point. Firstly, the positives. A fairly decent location in terms of its proximity to a main road and numerous country walks on the doorstep. We were also allowed to check-in at 14:30 when we arrived, despite the ludicrous 18:00 time listed on Agoda. This was appreciated after a couple of hours on the road. Now, the negatives. The listed continental breakfast is provided in your room on the day of arrival, so I'm sure you can imagine the extent to which 'fresh' takes a back seat. A granola bar, a carton of orange juice from concentrate, an apple and a small cellophane-wrapped croissant is provided per person... I'll leave it up to you as to whether that sounds appropriate for nearly 100 quid a night. In hundreds of hotel stays over the years, I can count the number of times I've had to take the hand soap into the shower because no toiletries have been provided on one hand. This is a basic requirement of a hotel room, regardless of its price point. Finally, the plug in the basin didn't properly close, meaning the basin couldn't be filled up. The whole room had the feeling of something put together to make money and then simply left beyond keeping it clean. A lazy approach to offering accommodation.

Lovely friendly village pub. Staff are lovely, and friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend the food and they have a comprehensive wine list. Well situated very close to the A1307 to Cambridge. Just like to give a mention to lovely Lucy, thanks for your help th rough out our stay, and we did make it home without any problems
