If you want to stay in the centre of Sheerness, the location is brilliant. As others have said, it has seen better days and needs a radical refurbishment. We stayed on a Saturday night on the top floor which was completely insulated from the loud music from the pub below. The place was relatively clean and the staff polite and helpful. The bed was comfortable with nicely laundered crisp white bedding. The room and en-suite bathroom were a bit shabby, particularly the bathroom. But, for 50 to 60 quid, it was alright.

Worst hotel ever been to in uk .its more like a hostel than a hotel ,staff unprofessional,no lift you carry your luggage up and down 3 floors .wont recommend to my enemies 😀.i checked out and absolutely no one was in the building.I booked for 3 days but managed to stay two days can I get a refund

My room was clean and comfortable, staff were polite and helpful, breakfast was good. No Problemo! - I'd cheerfully stay at the Royal again. That said the noise from the downstairs bar throughout the evening was 'considerable', and continued until well after 11pm. And when I returned to the hotel just after 10pm, minding my own business, I was badmouthed by a drunken woman who was outside in the Smoking Area. I can shrug-off such downsides - I'm a fairly big chap, served at sea so have no trouble sleeping despite background noise, and know Sheerness quite well - but a good many actual/potential hotel-guests would find the 'ambience' distinctly offputting.
