Firstly the Agoda room rate was misleadingly lower than the actual rate charged by the hotel. Luckily I checked beforehand with the hotel so avoided the unwanted surprise. The food at evening meal and breakfast was excellent value and quality and all staff encountered were friendly and polite My only gripe was the room which had seen better days and especially the bathroom with a cramped shower and dirty radiator. However considering it was overlooking the front road the nights rest was good.

We had a nice couple of days break at the WH. Positive: The staff were welcoming and changed our room with no problem due to the room being above the bar. They happily agreed to store our dog's chicken in their fridge and there was no qualms when asked for it. Our breakfast was plentiful and good selection. Nothing was too much trouble. We found their prices for meals a little on the expensive side. Definitely, recommend their snacks 4 for £20. We haggled 5 for 25 but we didn't need the 5th as big portions. It was lovely being able to take our dog. She enjoyed some gravy bones provided by the hotel. Negative: The bathroom was quite small and the shower cubical very narrow. I didn't find the bed very comfortable as at home we have a memory foam mattress and a neck pillow. It would be a suggestion of perhaps a selection of games in the bar area. Overstrand itself was very quiet but in driving distance to Cromer. We enjoyed the walks at Felbrigg Hall so did our dog. On the whole we enjoyed our stay!

Fab location, few minutes walk to the beach and we could see the sea from our spacious room. Lovely evening meal and breakfast.

The location was really good in the centre of the village and a pleasant walk to Cromer. The food was good although a little limited, breakfast was good too but no brown bread available!!!!. I cannot speak for other rooms but our room was very tired and the mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable. The carpet was tired and stined as was the headboard which showed clear stains from previous occupants and was very off putting for our experience as a whole. I asked if we could be moved but was told nothing else was available. What could have been a great experience was sadly marred by the poor state of the bedroom.

Pleasant rooms. Good breakfast. Enjoyable evening meal.
