I took a chance on an unknown-to-me place off the highway a bit to see what it would be like. WOW, am I glad. Honestly it was like stepping back in time. The beautiful building had even more of the charm than we expected to find. Though the building was nearly 300 years old, the room were updated, charming and the bathroom modern and well appointed. We arrived late, after the kitchen was closing, but they accommodated our hunger anyway. the staff was remarkable, friendly and helpful and happy to give us tips on sights nearby. I wish we would have planned more nights at this place. The best part of our tour of England by far.

Perfect little place

This is our 2nd stay and is as good as ever. Lovely stylish comfort room,great food and amazing staff. The breakfast is amazing. Can’t wait to come back again. Great value for money
