Only thing that could have made it better is if the elevator was working and having a mini fridge in the room. Other than that it's not bad. The staff were helpful and always very nice.

I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with this hotel. Because of my own personal history here, it will always have a special place in my heart, and that's largely because of the people—not the property itself. The staff is absolutely amazing. They have always treated me with kindness and respect, and several of the front desk employees truly go above and beyond. They are the biggest reason I would ever consider staying here again. That said, the hotel itself is a completely different story. The photos online are very misleading. What you see when booking is not what you'll find when you arrive. The property is in desperate need of renovation. The rooms are run down, the mattresses look stained and worn out, the hotel has an odd smell, and cleanliness is a major concern. During one of my stays, baby spiders had hatched and were crawling out of the air vent in my room. In my opinion, the condition of the building doesn't justify the nightly rate. The staff deserves far better than the facility they're working in, because they do everything they can to make guests feel welcome despite the condition of the property. If you're considering staying here, just know that the employees are the hotel's greatest asset. Unfortunately, the building itself falls far short of what the online photos suggest, and that's something potential guests should be aware of.

I was in the process of getting money sent to me for my room and the manager comes being all loud and rude interrupting me getting my room paid for, making me take longer. Saying she's going to lock me out of my room and throw all my stuff away. I got stranded with all my things there for the night and laule sale l couldn't have all my stuff in there, it wasn't an unrealistic amount of things in my room plus it's not any of her business. She also got upset about my boyfriend's copy of his ID wasn't in the file with mine. I told her he arrived later but did stop by and give her his ID and she made a copy. It's not my fault her employees didn't do their job. Then she went off about how I need Jesus and whatnot. So unprofessional. That place was a trashy druggy sketchy unsafe place anyway.

I wouldn't recommend this place to a bad friend. It smelled like urine in the staircase. The pool was not open. Just dirty.
