The room was a fair size and looked fairly nice when entered even though the door was already open which was worrying but carried on to find out there was no heating so had a bad night sleep and when mentioned there was no change and was frozen both mornings I was there ..

We Stayed three nights in the first room. I didn’t sleep very well because the people above were really noisy around three in the morning. When I went to the toilet. The lady who gave us a very tasty omelette with salad, shame with nothing else and there was no toaster to the bread. We should have gone to the bar. To ask for to be toasted in the kitchen. I didn’t have breakfast the next Sunday. We didn’t realise that because it’s not peak they only have breakfast on the weekends. Shame I didn’t taste the ladies tasty homemade bread and tasty rosties. The second room was much quieter and warmer as I was really cold in the twin room. But it was a lovely big room. If we come back to Hastings will definitely stay there.

The Highland Inn is situated between west St. Leonards and St Leonard’s on sea … it situated on a hill… if you like walking then it’ won’t be a problem, you can do your own barbecuing outside, there is onsite parking. The Inn. Is comfortable but not luxurious. The staff are down to earth and very helpful.

Essentially a local pub with rooms. Room was very comfortable and nicely appointed. And with the lively atmosphere of an English pub in the bar. Staff were friendly and helpful. A very pleasant experience.

The property was easy to find and the staff extremely helpful. Room was clean with big screen TV, tea and coffee facilities and a good ensuit with shower and toiletries included, beds were comfortable and a top floor room with sea views , No lift so two flights of stairs might ot be the easiest for the more elderly or people with mobility issues. Good value for money . Only downside was limited parking and either patrons of the bar or other quests were inconsiderate when parking and on two occasions had minimal room to reverse out and the second was parked across the back of mine so had to walk , which wasn't a real problem as I took a bracing walk along the seafront , 5 mins walk away . Would def book again when Im next visiting family .
