The accommodations are a motel rather than a hotel, but it seems like the room was recently renovated although the bathroom vanity needs updating. Location is very close to the historic district. The golf course was popular but I didn't play.

Good all around experience

The accommodations are a motel rather than a hotel, but it seems like the room was recently renovated although the bathroom vanity needs updating. Location is very close to the historic district. The golf course was popular but I didn't play.

Clean room good breakfast

Room was clean no bugs although a bit more expensive than other hotels in the area. Breakfast was good and very reasonably priced.

Oops!

Made a mistake when we picked this one. On a golf resort? Sounded great. Room was smaller than we expected. A lot smaller. Found dead flies in the bathroom light fixture. One light bulb was burned out in the bedside lamp. Needed another lamp in the room. Too dark. Tiny vanity sink. The silvering on the mirror was corroding. Shower unexpectedly blasted cold water. No desk. The room AC was loud and about four feet from my head. There was a dehumidifier in the room, running on arrival. For what? Check-out clerk was too busy on the phone to ack my presence on departure and didn't even ask if we enjoyed our stay. At least everything was clean. Didn't get sick, yet.
