This is a beautiful and clean guesthouse. The breakfast was very good and ample. The owner was friendly and helpful. The furniture whether antique or reproductions, suited the place perfectly, giving a feel of being transported back in time. The only issues my wife and i had was the bed and pillows. The small size double bed created a very restless sleep due to the body heat of 2 people confined in a small space covered by an overly weighty and thick doona. Whilst the room had both a single and double bed, it could have quite easily accommodated a queen if not a King bed which would have alleviated that problem. The pillows were an issue as well as they sunk right in until you were feeling the firmness of the bed itself and with the pillow then not offering any support at all to your head and neck.

We enjoyed our one night stay. The only reservation we have is that we had a room on the top floor and it was very hot even though it wasn’t hot weather. You can open the windows but then you get traffic noise from the quite busy Warwick Road. Other than it’s great, good location, good value for money, clean and well kept.

Everything you could want. Lovely lady owner, very clean, tea and coffee in your room, great shower with towels. I'll definitely stop there again if I'm in the area.

We had a lovely stay in Caron’s place. Everything was perfect - Cosy, clean, very well decorated rooms, fabulous breakfast, atmosphere. Caron is a very pleasant and friendly host who makes you feel at home from start to finish. Location is very good - a short 5 min stroll to all the plentiful amenities of this lovely town.
