The Baywalk Sunset Resort

I stayed at this hotel from October 17–18, 2026. While there were some positive aspects of my stay, several issues affected the overall experience. On the positive side, the staff were friendly, accommodating, and pleasant in responding to requests. The breakfast was decent, and the hotel itself was visually appealing and appeared to be well-maintained. However, there were several areas that need improvement. The location felt somewhat isolated, with limited establishments or attractions nearby. Although the hotel advertises beachfront access, the beach is actually across the street, has no lifeguard on duty, and is only marginally suitable for swimming. Another concern was the lack of staff assistance after 5:00 PM, which could be inconvenient for guests who need help outside regular hours. The room also had some comfort and amenity issues. The TV remote was unreliable even after the batteries were replaced, which was particularly frustrating for children who wanted to watch television. The air-conditioning also struggled to cool the room adequately, making it less comfortable. In addition, hot drinking water was not readily available, and the room lacked a refrigerator and microwave, which would have been useful amenities. The biggest issue, however, was the noise. Music from the bar was played at an excessively high volume until around 11:30 PM. With only a glass sliding door separating the room from the speakers, the noise was difficult to escape and made it challenging to relax or get a good night's sleep. Overall, the hotel has several positive qualities, including friendly staff, a decent breakfast, and an attractive, well-maintained property. However, improvements in noise management, room comfort, in-room amenities, guest assistance, and beach accessibility are necessary to provide a more comfortable and enjoyable stay. With these changes, the hotel could offer a much better experience for its guests.

Very relaxing place and approachable staff.

Really enjoyed our stay here, I personally loved the live acoustic at night, it made the evening so relaxing, especially while enjoying the good food and drinks at the bar. The place has such a nice, cozy vibe, and the staff were really warm and accommodating.

Had a really nice stay here. The room was clean and comfortable, and you can tell that the place is well taken care of. The staff were very friendly and approachable too. We had a smooth and relaxing stay from check in to check out. Definitely a place Id recommend to friends and family.
