The bedroom was great with a comfortable double bed and the guesthouse is right in the centre of Alnwick. Parking space too which was very useful! The only downside was the bathroom/shower. Both of which were very dated. Tracy was very helpful on the phone and by email although we didn’t actually meet her.

A perfectly good guest house, but on the occasion of our visit there were no staff present and you let yourself in. This is fine but it does mean that with the front door unlocked, there is just the room door that's between you and the street.

Spacious and tidy and clean and very comfortable. Great location, 100m to town centre and Playhouse. Back yard parking for 2 cars will test your parking skills, but more free parking up the road for the less assured driver.

We booked the guest house at the last minute and it was good value compared to other accommodation available in Alnwick. It was clean and comfortable and we had a good nights sleep. The shower room was small but adequate for us. Communication with the accommodation was speedy and clear although we didn’t meet anyone in person. This wasn’t a problem at all. Parking is available on site but is quite tight for larger cars, including going through a narrow arch. Free parking (no disc needed) is a short distance away. There’s no breakfast option but there’s lots in town and this is an excellent location right in the centre of town. You can hear others in the building but fellow guests were quiet and considerate. Wi-Fi was a little patchy. We enjoyed our stay including a drink in the pub next door (Fleece) and pizza in the close by Pizza restaurant (Cafe Tirreno)

Stayed in Room No. 3 - a basic room but decent size with a double bed which was nicely decorated and comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. TV in room bigger than average for a guest house. Small shower with separate toilet area, (the sink could be bigger) but still part of the room through a door. Hooks provided on door and wall to hang coat and clothes and two chairs in the room. Kettle and basic tea/coffee/biscuit/chocolate provided. Quiet area with no road noise. The only noise I heard was in the morning when other guests were coming down the stairs. Small area at the rear of the property with room for 3 cars through an arch way - too tight to risk driving my car through, so I parked in the car park at the top of the road to the right. There is another car park at the bottom of the road across the street, both are free. Double yellow lines at the Guest House. No reception but owner will meet you on arrival. Stay as expected for the money paid.
