Nevis Rooms - Self check in with free onsite Parking

Good communication with owner re keysafe entry, no interaction with staff at all. Indicated as B&B but this was a 'porridge pot' & coffee making products. Room was comfortable enough but accommodation is on busy A82 route which may prove troublesome for light sleepers

Booked a family room with 2 singles and a double with private bathroom. The room is spacious and the place isn't very hard to find, the host did gave very clear instructions. 10-15 minutes walk to supermarket and city centre, very convenient

The room (No 3) was an ideal size, accessed from the front door and upstairs so maybe not ideal for someone with limited mobility but no issue for me. The exclusive use bathroom is next door and is opened with a key so I could leave my wash kit etc in there with no problem. Both the bedroom and bathroom were spotless. The bedroom had a decent sized kettle, a good selection of tea/coffee/milk plus a nice touch was the porridge pot for breakfast. Blackout curtains helped and the room temperature could be adjusted with the window opening easily. I slept really well but climbing Ben Nevis that day probably helped! On the downside I could have done with a soak in the bath after my hike but the plug was missing however the shower was both hot and powerful. In the morning there wasn't any hot water from the tap despite running it for a good while but with the shower being electric I still could get a shave. Without those couple of little things the accommodation would get a solid 5/5 for quality and value but as it was I'd give it a creditable 4/5. Everything is done remotely without speaking to anyone and as I had to leave fairly early, I didn't have time to raise the issues noted but I'm sure they'd be addressed going off the general condition of the accommodation. I'd recommend the Nevis Rooms and would stay again.

This is one of my kids favourite lodging place throughout our 2 weeks trip. The check-in was fuss free and easy. The rooms are clean and tidy decor with highland cow theme. The beds, pillows and duvet are one of the most comfy. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the Highlands area.

It was one of the best accommodation we had. The amount of money we paid was worth it. Also, the owner is very responsive to our queries. Highly recommended!
