Staff were very welcoming and helped with a door issue immediately. I would recommend renumbering the buttons in the elevator so as not to confuse patrons.

First, there are 2 different Super 8 hotels in Saskatoon - one near downtown (where I had a bad luck to make a booking) and one near airport which is very strange for such a small town. The one near airport is apparently OK. I checked a rating on *** and the rating was good, but the rating was for Super 8 hotels near airport. I put a check-in time at 1-2am next day. The booking was PREPAID through Agoda. When I arrived (at 2:40am) the room was not available. The guy at front desk told me that he didn't have my arrival time in my reservation (lie!). He proposed me the only available room that was not cleaned, with dirty bed and food on the floor. I refused. I thought that it would be better for me to spend the remainder of the night in my rental car which I did at airport. The front-desk guy proposed me the cancellation which I accepted. But for him the cancellation didn't mean refund! He told me that Agoda must refund me money, not him. When I called Agoda (their phone number is not provided on their website, I had to search for it online in the middle of the night) they told me that hotel should refund me, not Agoda. Agoda refunded me only after I mentioned that I will apply for charge back from credit card and go to Small Claims court. The hotel is extremely dirty. When I read online reviews afterwards people even mention bedbugs. I think Agoda is just slowly destroying their own business having such hotels available on their website. And I will try to avoid booking through Agoda going forward.

If room *** is any indication, do not stay here until Super 8 renovates this building and changes out all bedding, pillows and toiletries. I felt robbed of the *** I paid. My room was like a crime scene. I complained and the staff didn’t seem surprised and didn’t seem to care. This stay wasn’t worth ***. There isn’t even a breakfast room. It’s just a paper bag with an apple, muffin and juice box. You can’t park under the building for fear of dangling building parts falling on your car. Stay anywhere else, please!

First room had an absurd amount of stains on the linens, so we requested a new set. Put the new set on the bed and it was just as stained as the last. At that point we had already had enough of the 3am yelling match taking place over the phone in the room next to us, so we were put into a new room. Go to the second room, same thing, linens beyond stained. The mirror beside the bed had a significant amount of blood splattered on it, and there was used coke baggies on the floor! It was like a cleaner never even walked in that room. So we got a third room since we couldn't get a refund for whatever reason...linens were clean so we went to bed, at this point nearly 4:30AM. Given how late it was I didn't even bother checking the cleanliness of the bathroom, I just wanted to go to sleep....went to take a shower in the morning and see the toilet covered in hair, shower floor filled with hair, and crap quite literally smeared onto the walls. This hotel is an embarrassment to the super 8 franchise.
