Was in a basement room. Value was good but compared to other hotels in the area not as good. Pros Comfy bed Good facilities (microwave/fridge/tea making Price Cons Noisy in basement. Walls are thin and lots of noise from doors, other rooms tv etc Decor tired and rough (looks like there are works going on) Shower on the whole good but dirty shower curtain Small tea cups (need mugs) Toilet crammed in tight corner Probably wouldn't stay again but close to tube station

I was nervous about booking this place based on other reviews. If you are looking for a 5-star hotel, this isn't it, and I would have been disappointed if that is what I was expecting. Our room looked "kind of" like the pictures. The general layout was there, but it was definitely renovated roughly with uneven paint lines, missing baseboard in places, and some odd tiling in the bathroom. But the bed was comfortable and we had a fridge, microwave, kettle, and teacups. The WiFi was great for us on the 2nd floor and the elevator was helpful when we had all our bags on us. You are at the mercy of your neighbors. We could hear the occupants on the floor above us drop things and walk around. We even heard an occupant in the room next to us snoring. But none of it was loud enough to keep us up. In summary, if you are fine with basic amenities and want to be close to public transportation, this is a fine hotel to be at.

The hotel is quite nice and provided me with my accommodation needs. I had very few issues with my room. The shower only seemed to have cold water and the light switches were placed very oddly. The one for the bedroom was by the entrance to the bathroom and the one for the toilets was right next to my bed meaning that if I needed the toilet during the night I had to crawl down my bed to get to the light switch. My main warning is that they will ask you for a £50 deposit upon arrival so please take this into account if you choose the Boka Hotel for your accommodation in London.

I stayed in room 13 on this stay, the wifi was very unsteady (couldn't use laptop and TV at same time as signal not strong enough), also light came in above the door from reception so I had to put a towel up and wear eye shades to sleep, however room was clean and nice, it would be great to have full length mirror and sink like rooms used to have in 2023 (there is a sink next to microwave but it has been sealed up), shower and bathroom were fine and bed very comfortable, thanks for a nice stay

Stayed one night. Was pleasantly surprised with the hotel and room. Stayed on 3rd floor, there's a modern lift. Very comfortable mattress and bedding. Table lamps, fridge and microwave, tea facilities, good size shower, soaps, plenty of towels, hairdryer. Good size room. Walls are thin, but luckily wasn't woken by anyone's noise. The decor looked recent from around two years ago. Just one negative, being asked for a £50 deposit which would be refunded in 10 days. This is the first time in 3 years of business travel that I've been asked for a deposit.
