Pleck Barn B&B

my arrival email didn't "arrive" until I was already travelling and I couldn't access it on my phone. There were 3 rooms I could have been in, so I knocked on the room marked private to ask the owners. They heard me know as did their yappy dogs but didn't answer though I could hear them talking inside. I had to wait until my wife was home to call her and get her to check my emails - I had been allocated "Silver". Fell asleep on the bed to be awoken by a loud knock and a grumpy hostess telling me I hadn't filled out the breakfast chitty. I mentioned that I would be leaving at 7am to which she abruptly replied "Well I'm not making breakfast at seven!... I hadn't even asked her to ! ! A very weird set up.

fantastic B&B in the perfect location, booked to take my father to the tank museum, nice and peaceful location, lovely scenery, the owner is very friendly and tolerant, and gas some amazing pets. overall, i cannot find any faults with the accomodation, and i have a very difficult father. the breakfast was excellent and homy, sat around a nice farm style kitchen. my only regret is not booking more nights, however i will definitely be returning and can highly recommend this b&b to anyone, dont miss out on this hidden gem

We were feeling jet lagged after a long flight and we were made very welcome by Claire. It was a very peaceful place to stay to catch up on lost sleep. We enjoyed seeing her friendly dogs. The English breakfast was delicious.
