Fabulous find in such a quaint village. The most amazing Sunday roast and perfectly kept ale consumed in the garden area. The staff were all very friendly and particularly Chantelle the manager. Understandably they close a little early on a Sunday evening but I took a drive to the other pub in th group and whilst this one doesn’t have accommodation it is a quintessential English Pub with once again fabulous staff and ownership that I had the pleasure to meet and who were most hospitable Accommodation back at The Crewe Arms was perfect for my needs and whilst breakfast isn’t an option this was not a concern for me but should be factored in for others.

The staff couldn't try harder. They were excellent in every interaction, even when they were extremely busy in the restaurant. Talking of the restaurant, the food was delicious. The Crewe Arms is a great pub set in a beautiful village. Definitely the place to go for a good night's sleep. The room had all I required and was clean. There are hens at the back of the pub and eggs on sale in the pub. Be sure to take some home with you, they are great quality. I booked here while working in Banbury. It was definitely worth the commute.

Good food nice people very welcoming

Staff are wonderful and friendly, the place is cozy and welcoming overall and is amazing for a short stay. Only downside was our bed was very springy and there was some concerns over room security as there was only one lockable interior room door stopping anyone coming in in the night and the main door was left unlocked, but this can be overlooked as everything else was spot on. I recommend for short stay travellers.

The Crewe arms is a very great place to stay. I stayed for one night. When checking in I was greeted by a very kind lady who showed me to the room. The room was really nice, cosy and very clean. The bed was super comfortable as well. The tv was big and viewable from the bed which is great. The en suite bathroom was clean and functional. There was a nice tray with tea, coffee, kettle and biscuits. I have no complaints or anything bad to say at all. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cosy clean room to stay with very kind staff in a beautiful area. Also, there was a dog who greeted me when I was checking in as well. He was so adorable and very friendly.
