On entering the Inn the first thing you noticed was the awful smell of damp this lingered around the whole of the lower areas, bar, restaurant entrance area and staircase to the second level. Our double room however did not have a damp smell and was decorated with both modern and old furnishings. There was a radiator in the room but this did not heat the room but there was an electric heater that we had to have on all the time to maintain an adequate temperature. The bathroom was Baltic with an electric heater on the wall which did nothing the shower was also electric and fluctuated between hot and cold never a happy medium which resulted in me feeling chilled and having to lie under the quilt to warm up. It is an old building with very thick walls which could have contributed to the lack of warmth in the building. The service from staff was excellent and the food was outstanding both in the evening and at breakfast with great choices on the menu to suit everyone. Thankyou for a good stay.

Very warm and welcoming pub. Excellent beer and comfortable room. Good breakfast.

The hotel was a good price The breakfast was great and the lady making the breakfast was very pleasant The room 5 we stayed in was great except the shower was either cool or boiling hot which they put right while we had our evening meal so all in all we had a nice time

Staying in the Grandy Inn has been very pleasurable. The room was clean, the staff were very friendly and the food was good. The only quibble was the noisy road so unless you are a sound sleeper, book a rear room.

Lovely relaxed stay. Staff wonderfully helpful and friendly.
