Melville House Bed and Breakfast

Reminded me of the old style B&Bs I've found in the UK. Enjoyed my stay.

Great place to stay Comfy bed nice fresh linen

Charlie, the owner, made us welcome and comfortable. Unfortunately this stay we were allocated a tiny room with no en-suite. Not expected nor satisfactory for elderlies with night bladder issues. Booked well in advance so puzzling why.

I was lucky to get an enormous upstairs room so thank you Melville House. Brekky is basic but adequate and gives the opportunity to meet other guests.

We stayed 2 nights in Lismore during peak festive season with our dog Freddie. We loved the B&B and would definately stay again in future road trips from Sydney to Brisbane. The backyard is comfortable and we enjoyed interacting with the other guests. Mark the host was super-friendly and made our stay welcome with great tips on local areas to visit, his recommendations were spot on. The next time we book, we'll hopefully book earlier, as this was a relatively last minute booking. Recommend Lismore to all as a place to stop and enjoy, with good proximity to Byron Bay, Bangalow Lennox Head and Ocean Shores. The highlight for us was the evening displays of wild-life.
