Tlaquepaque Pueblito

We went to Tlaquepaque for a wedding and decided to stay there since it’s right next to the plaza. I called a month before to make sure our reservation was placed and they did not answer nor did they return my call. Once we arrived the gentleman there did not see our name on their list but told us they do have our room and pointed to “our room”. Once we arrived for check in a lady told us we don’t have that room that we booked a jr suite, which is just a regular room. The description says we had a separate living space area, so we were really disappointed that was not the case. Since we were so desperate for a room we decided to stay in the regular room anyways. There is black mold on the ceiling, there’s no iron, there’s no place to sit down and get ready. Good luck trying to take a shower it will come out boiling hot at first and cold for the rest of the shower. The cleaning lady walked in on us getting dressed, she did not knock or anything to let us know she’ll be coming into the room. The only thing I like about the place is the courtyard and how close it was to the plaza. Will not be returning.

The location is ideal. It was, when we were there, very quiet. The staff, Jesus and David were cheerful and accommodating. It may not be what everyone is looking for, but for us it was great.
