My wife and I had to leave a day early (2 day stay booked) as we both got little to no sleep because of how cold the room was. We did have the additional electric radiator switched on which was provided staff, but it made no difference whatsoever. We both ended up sleeping with our clothes on to try and keep warm. The radiator in the shower room did not come on hot at all and made it impossible due to the severe coldness to have a shower. We had both slept in our clothes in the night to try and keep safe and warm. These was no way that we could spend another 25 hours there, so we decided to drive home a day early and just bear the financial loss.

Lovely room, very clean and well appointed. Staff extremely friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Very good breakfast. Would definitely recommend staying there.

The pictures in the advertisement are far much better than the actually place the only lovely thing was the garden setting , very old and tired, floors in rooms are totally uneven , wires on show everywhere, telly in terrible position, shower old and dirty as is the sink in the bedroom which had dripping tap and glugging noise 5 mins after draining away, door handle come off and the fire door banging open all night with light detected on and lastly was told on arrival breakfast only available at weekends!

First time we visit the area, we stayed two nights during Easter with a dog. They gave us room 10 on our first night which was totally under-standard. The radiator switch was broken so the room was red-hot, noisy room which made us impossible to sleep at all. As no one we can talk to during the night, we had to put up with that until 9am. When we told them about it in the morning, they were extremely helpful, switched our room asap and also pay us back our first night due to the bad experience. I would recommend the hotel in general but could recommend to stay away from room 10!

Overall good, could do with a new carpet but i was happy. Did not realize breakfast was not in the price or available, that is the only reason i might not stay there again.
